At ZAP Trading, we are committed to operating responsibly, ethically and transparently. Our policies and procedures support these commitments across our business and, where relevant, throughout our relationships with customers, suppliers and other business partners.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. We expect high standards from our suppliers, contractors and business partners and are committed to responsible practices throughout our operations and supply chain.
We are committed to conducting our business honestly, fairly and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and expect our employees and those we do business with to maintain appropriate standards of ethical conduct.
We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities and continually improving our environmental performance. This includes responsible sourcing, reducing waste, recycling resources and working with customers and suppliers to encourage more sustainable practices.
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and professional environment for everyone. We have zero tolerance for harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, threats or other abusive behaviour towards our employees, contractors, visitors or anyone else we work with.
This standard applies to all customers, suppliers, contractors and other business partners whenever they interact with our people - at our premises, at meetings or events, by telephone, email or online. No commercial relationship is more important than the safety and dignity of our people.
We expect everyone who works with or visits us to treat others with courtesy and respect, respect personal boundaries, and keep all conversations and communications appropriate for a professional setting. Unwanted conduct is unacceptable regardless of whether offence was intended; its impact matters.
We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour involving our people to raise it with their contact or the Head of People. Concerns will be taken seriously, handled sensitively and, where possible, confidentially. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
Where this statement is breached, we will take proportionate action. This may include ending an interaction, asking someone to leave our premises, restricting future access, raising the matter with their organisation, suspending or ending a contract or business relationship, or reporting potentially criminal behaviour to the police. Serious incidents may result in immediate action without prior warning.
We are grateful for the support of our customers, suppliers and other partners in helping us maintain these standards and a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all.
We encourage employees and anyone connected with our business to raise concerns about suspected wrongdoing or unethical conduct. Concerns raised through the appropriate channels will be taken seriously and handled in line with our procedures, supporting openness, transparency and accountability.
We maintain internal policies and procedures supporting these commitments. To request further information or raise a concern, please contact us through the contact details provided on our website. If your concern relates to inappropriate behaviour involving our people, please ask for the Head of People.
